Major sponsorship levels

Use of funds beyond the sculpture build

Whale Song is a charitable project, not a commercial venture. Sponsorship and donations will first be applied to the design, engineering, fabrication, transport, installation and completion of the seven-whale sculptural park.

If sponsorship support exceeds the direct cost of delivering the sculpture installation, all remaining funds will continue to be held and applied by the Whale Song Pakake Waiata Charitable Trust in accordance with its charitable purposes, legal obligations and Trust rules.

These funds may support the wider Whale Song legacy, including interactive AR, VR and AI storytelling, app development, education programmes, interpretation, visitor experience infrastructure, a future visitor centre, project merchandising, environmental and cultural learning resources, ongoing care of the attraction and potential future sculptures or public artworks within the park.

No funds are distributed for private gain. Every dollar raised is intended to strengthen Whale Song as a lasting cultural, educational, environmental and visitor destination for Kāpiti and future generations.
